Heartfelt Gratitude to the Science Batch of 95/96

The 95/96 Batch of the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya, initiated a fundraising program following the recent disaster that affected the university. With contributions from 160 batch members worldwide, they collected Rs. 1.408 million to support the Faculty of Science Development Fund. The donation aims to address resource shortages resulting from increased student intake and post-disaster challenges, helping improve facilities and restore academic standards. The batch also encourages other alumni to contribute toward the university’s stabilization and upliftment.

Commemoration of late Prof. Emeritus B.S.B. Karunaratne

A Commemoration ceremony, honoring the life and the legacy of the late Prof. Emeritus B.S.B. Karunaratne, will be held on November 14, 2025.
