Programme Structure Graduate Profile
Initially, a student registers for a Bachelor of Science Study Programme, and at the end of the second academic year, he/she may continue to follow the Bachelor of Science Study Programme or register for a Bachelor of Science Honours Study Programme if the selection criteria is satisfied.
The duration of the Bachelor of Science Study Programme is three academic years. The Bachelor of Science Study Programme has been broad-based and restructured to allow increased flexibility, with options to offer supplementary courses and courses listed under the principal subject area. The principal subject area offered for Bachelor of Science Study Programme are Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Mathematics, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Physics, Statistics and Zoology. During the first academic year, students follow a combination of three subjects from the principal subject area and at the second academic year, students should select at least two subjects from the principle subject area at 2000 level.
