Department of Statistics & Computer Science

I am a newly joined senior lecturer at the Department of Statistics and Computer Science. I have received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Peradeniya. I received my second M.Sc. and the Ph.D from the University of Texas at Dallas where my doctoral research focused Human-machine Collaborative Vulnerability Discovery for C/C++ under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Hamlen. During the Ph.D., I have taken a part of DARPA'S CHESS: Computers and Humans Exploring Software Security. My research interest is concentrated at vulnerability detection, malware defense, AI powered cyber-security and cyber deception.
