Mr. D. D. Buddheen Perera won the "Best Presenter" award in the Theoretical and Applied Physics Oral Session at the UNI-IN ALLIANCE Research Symposium 2024, held on the 16th of August 2024, organized by the Society of Industrial Scholars, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. His research, titled "Neutron Activation Analysis to Determine Isotopes of Elements in Portland Cement using Delayed Gamma Emission" was supervised by Dr. J. A. C. P. Jayalath and Dr. D. R. A. Mendis from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya.
