About Me

I am a probationary lecturer at the Department of Physics, University of Peradeniya. I completed my Ph.D at University of Texas at Dallas in 2017 under the guidance of Dr. Jason Slinker. My PhD thesis was on developing DNA based devices to track anti cancer drug activity. Upon completion of my Ph.D. I joined Rice University as a postdoctoral scholar and work under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Silberg. At Silberg lab I spent my time in understanding the electrochemical properties of Ferredoxins.
