Congratulations to Prof. Manawadevi Y.U. Ganehenege - SUSRED Award Recipient.
SUSRED (Support Scheme for Supervision of Research Degrees) is a NSF award given to motivate, support and recognize scientists engaged in supervising postgraduate research students in all areas of Science and Technology. Prof. M.Y.U. Ganehenege received the SUSRED award at the NSF Awards Ceremony held on 16th November 2021 at the BMICH. This was a reward for her principal supervision of the doctoral research project carried out by Dr. T.M.M. Marso with the co-supervision of Dr. C.S. Kalpage (Faculty of Engineering, UoP) on utilisation of environmental pollutants and biomass for the production of biofuels and industrial chemicals using the heterogeneous catalysts.
