Admission to any study programme is based on general admissions to the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya.
Department of Physics offers courses to the students following three types of Study Programmes administered by the Faculty of Science.
B.Sc. Study Programme
Total of 60 credits from Physics out of which 23 credits are compulsory
B.Sc. Honours in Physics
Total of 117 credits from Physics out of which 60 credits are compulsory
B.Sc. Honours in Applied Sciences
Extended B.Sc. Study Programme after third year. Total of 10 credits from 400 level courses for Applied Sciences Study programme from Physics
