Faculty of Science offers Google Workspace accounts for all students and staff. This is the main identification within the faculty. All members will able to access all faculty services using this Google Workspace account.

Description
Faculty of Science offers an email address to both students and staff. All the emails are having the "sci.pdn.ac.lk" domain. Student's emails are equivalent to their registration number (ex : s18999@sci.pdn.ac.lk) while permanent and temporary staff members can request any email id.

Guidelines
Single Identity
One user can have only a single Google Workspace Account. If user need more accounts for different designations and committees, they can obtain the necessary email aliases or email groups
Account Termination
Students can keep this account until one year after they graduated. Temporary staff can keep this account until one month after they are terminated.
Publicity
Do not put this email address on a public website in a copyable manner. It will help web bots to collect your email and send unnecessary/phishing emails.
